We offer Refractive Cataract/Lens Surgery to provide you with the opportunity for enhanced quality of life through clearer vision.  

While standard cataract surgery requires the use of glasses afterwards, Refractive Cataract Surgery is a premium option to reduce or eliminate your need for glasses.  If you are over 50 and considering LASIK, Refractive Lens Surgery may be better for you than LASIK by providing far AND near vision.  And, you would never need cataract surgery in the future!

In making an informed choice, you should understand some of the “pros and cons” of Refractive Cataract/Lens Surgery.  For more details, please read the >> Informed Consent << document.

  • 95+% of patients who choose Refractive Cataract/Lens Surgery never or seldom wear glasses afterwards.
  • Refractive Cataract/Lens Surgery is a process. It may take several weeks to adapt to your new vision without glasses and may even require touch-up procedures three months or more after the first surgery, at nominal additional cost.
  • Refractive Cataract/Lens Surgery works even if you only need one eye corrected. Patients who need both eyes done tend to see even better after the second eye has undergone a similar procedure.
  • We use the latest technologies including Micro-Coaxial Torsional Phaco, crystalens, ReSTOR, ReZoom, and Toric IOLs.
  • Insurance plans do not cover the additional cost of Refractive Cataract/Lens Surgery.
